Fanvideos

Production Notes: I've seen a lot of fan attempts at making a "movie trailer" for their favorite television show, so I thought I'd try my hand at making one for Supernatural, which is and always will be my first television love. I also used some clips from movies like The Book of Eli and Legion, because I wanted to make the world look dark and post-apocalyptic if Dean chose not to fight. I'm a Dean girl, so obviously I had a lot about Dean and his destiny, but in my next vid I hope to make it just about Sam. Who knows? *shrugs* I'd love feedback on this one.

Production Notes: Created to sort of assuage my obsession with Damon Salvatore and Bonnie Bennett of The Vampire Diaries. It's my guilty pleasure and I watch it before Supernatural comes on. I chose a sort of sultry, southern-feeling song with a lot of dark undertones and double entendres. Plus the singer has a nice rich sound, combined with the minor key changes that I think adds a very surreal, gothic texture to the vid. I dunno, I just love this pairing so much and they're not even a couple yet! I had to make something media-wise for them before I went insane. Tell me what you think.

Production Notes: Created for an RPG that I never really had the energy to open, I still like the darkness of the plotline (a world in need of superheroes and vigilantes). Used clips from The Spirit, Max Payne, Wolverine, Superman Returns, The Dark Knight, and Watchmen. What I was trying to do here was show the darker side of the future, in which crime and violence have corrupted every aspect of our world. This dark world needs heroes and vigilantes to clean up the streets. I chose the NIN song because I thought it was sort of haunting and serious, a tone that I needed in a video like this.

Production Notes: What I really wanted to create here was a montage of Sam and Dean Winchester kicking butt and taking names. This was my first attempt using Windows Movie Maker, so it doesn't flow as well as my other videos and the quality is more blurry. However, I hope that it gets the point across. The reason I chose "Shockwave" as the song for this vid is because it's hard rock that doesn't stop, exactly the kind of soundtrack that goes with the Winchester brothers' hunting techniques. Hope that makes sense...
